has anyone ever tried modifying a Volkswagon beetle 6 volt condenser to work in an ca 95 ?

The condenser seems to be easily available in reproduction land, any condenser would word electrically if the mfd rating is the same. I have a capacitor meter and could check one if i had a good one here. The rating is usually printed on the outside of the piece though and the meter shouldnt be necessary. If it is the same mfd rating and you can make it fit physically there should be no difference. Curt

Ohio cycle still lists both the points and condenser for the ca95. Just do a google search for Them and look on their online catalog. Curt
