Per Spokes suggestion I pulled the 14mm bolt and the little bushing was greased and reinstalled on the bolt. I took the bike for its longest test drive since the rebuild, which felt pretty awesome! On the test drive the bike intermittently would slip out of 2nd and I also had a hard time getting it into 1st a few times. Also had 2 instances when shifting from 2nd to 3rd where I made the shift, released the clutch, and the bike just revved like I was in neutral. Are these systomes of a bad shift rod as Spokes mentioned? Clutch related?
I want to move on to paint and chrome but want this bike shifting like it should before I move onto the final phase
On a postive note the bike runs super even with a 250lb monkey riding it
