Searching for Mufflers(66' CA160)
I have used the same kits from ebay. The holes in the cork seal (and the neopreme) are too small for the ports they are suppost to seal. Using a small round file, open the holes up and keep opening them up until the seal fits flush over the 3 ports. Believe it or not, the cork works better than the neopreme. Also, make sure the cross spring is flush against the tank and does not have one tab in the "keyway" opening.

Thanks for the tips! I'll be removing it again today and trying the cork gasket instead of the rubber one I have in there. It's stopped leaking while in the "off" position but reserve and on still drip quite profusely. The only part I didn't replace in the petcock system was the spring plate, but it seemed like there was plenty of "pressure" I suppose you'd call it, in the plate still.
