Please help, I am lost on this one

I really didn't know where to put this thread so I parked it here. Here is the question

I need to pull the mechanical spark adv and holding it in is a aluminum bolt i need to know fer sure is it left hand thread or right hand, dont want to break it off, the points lobe turns counter clockwise, it is a 73 cb 450

Thank you kindly. I have been pounding the keyboard all morning for a friend. I hate to join every Honda forum on the web and can't get a straight answer from google. I like this forum, everyone is always so helpful and friendly.

Agreed! This is the best forum for what I and those here do but it doesn't cover the full spectrum. Most forums however only require membership to post but not to search so you can still find the answer in most cases. Good luck and I say lefty loosey.
