My bike came with some of that Bondo on the pipes. nice on the fingers, bad on the eyes. my pipes work fine. still stuck in the throttle change. i made a silly decision and bought some cheap Valentinos to test the idea. if ( and i know i'm new here) i had any advice as a new guy, i would recommend doing your homework first, it get's way to fun to buy stuff for your new project, i know, the bad way, thanks to this forum and the replies i finally found the right stuff. thanks. i'll pics of the build up soon.

I decided to go with some high temp JB weld to hold the extensions on, the slip on pipes are going to be held by clamps to the shorter pipe extensions. I ended up getting some 4" fishtails the set up looks fantastic, I just need to lock everything in place.
