So everyone's familiar with the Honda CBX six cylinder engine from back in the day. I've seen one or two in my time and can't remember seeing one actually ridden. I'm not sure of all the details of the bike as it's a side project at CCM that I've just become aware of. All I know is that the Spondon chassis and the CBX 6 cylinder look like works of art. More CBX memories from an old Cycle Magazine article.

The engine has to be the most striking element of the bike.

And then the frame is just beautiful. How about the shock placement?

This thing just shines from all angles.

A side shot and then below another shot of the bike without the flash on this time.

And just to update things just a little here. The bikes exhaust was recently finalized at a local pro header and exhaust fab shop. It is surely top notch work on a primo bike. I just happened to be going by the shop to visit a friend when I noticed the familiar Spondon in the lurking in the shadows.

I'm not so sure about the exiting muffler tips pointing in towards each other. I can't say if that is exactly how they were welded into place.

The Spondon frame looks great from any angle and with the CBX 1000 6 cylinder engine stuffed in there it makes for one extremely eye pleasing motorcycle.

And it only gets better when you look at some pictures of the Spondon taken from even closer up.
