Sept./ Oct. issue of Motorcycle Classics is giving a little love to our CA 95 Benlys in their Under The Radar section . This is where they spotlight motorcycles that may be up and comers in the classic bike market . Nice little article generally getting it right . They show a well worn but mostly complete CA 95 for sale at $750.00 dollars which seems correct and also give a price range of $800.00 - $3500.00 which also seems reasonable .
About time that our Benlys got a little love !
I just looked and you can read the article on-line at Motorcycle Classics website .

I'm a subscriber, so I'm looking forward to the article. My magazine hasn't arrived yet.
Thanks for the heads-up.

I didn't want to post copyrighted material here, but if you're interested in a 2-page PDF of this interesting article, please PM me and I'll send you a link.
Motorcycle Classics is an excellent magazine - some of the content is available online, but the subscription is well worth the price.

They did manage to slip in a few mistakes, low compression at 8 to 1 and a twin leading shoe front brake.

Other than that, it was a good read.

Natch, there's nothing in Colorado. An earlier me would think "There's a niche to be filled, go start one!"...the older me just says "meh, I'd rather ride than look at stopped bikes."
and one any distance away would have me hauling the Benly in the truck...6'5" me and 50 mph just isn't compatible with 80mph interstates.

Cool to read a current article on the CA95/C95, it doesn't get enough recognition as the cool little classic that it is so anything like this is always nice to see.
Thanks for pointing it out.

If you're not a regular reader of Motorcycle Classics, you may have missed Roger's nice call-out to this fine forum in his letter to the magazine, published in the November/December issue:
Thanks for taking the time to recognize this group, Rog.

I will! (Life has just recently opened up so that I may get back to completing the Barnly.)
Course, I won't be riding it very far, seeing as how the observed average speed of traffic is twice what it's happy doing.
