I have to ask; has anyone attempted or succeed in making rearsets for this bike?

Yes. :D :D :D :D but I'm not sure if you can do it with the stock exhaust.
After just looking at the pics in this thread http://www.fourwheelforum.com/forum/sho ... .php?t=977
you may be able to do it.
The first picture is a CB92 frame and rearsets but with CA95 pipes, I'm not sure if the CB92 mounting brackets will clear the CA95s fatter silencers as mine had meggaphones which are much slimmer where they mount.
I might be able to fix you up with a complete set but you will need to make a small modification to the frame where the brake side mounts to. (drill a hole and make a spacer)
The down side to it is....CB92 stuff is bloody expensive.

I'l have a look what I've got on Monday Kevin, I'm off work then.
It might be cheaper though if you look on ebay for them in the States as postage from the UK is quite high.

Sheesh with the price of fuel going up a little that probably gives the shippers a reason to double the price again. I start getting worked up over shipping prices sorry. :) If I had the little foot pegs I could make them up and post some pictures up here about the process for Mr Sams input. These guys MUST have some laying around to sell us as I see them on all sorts of their project bikes on the website. http://www.dimecitycycles.com/

I didn't get chance to look yesterday, the weather was foul.
I'll try one evening after work but I have a sneaky feeling they might foul the stock silencers on the CA95. Although the rear sets bolt straight onto the frame, the bike they came off has its pipes more under slung. I'll look into it as I have spare stock pipes and silencers.

Sorry but the Benly Super sport foot rest will not fit. The Exhaust system is to high to clear the mounting points and you would need to get a longer swing arm spindle as well as that is the main mounting point.

Hi, Sam- I'm pretty new to the CA95 game; but have built a few customs in my day... I picked up a CA95 reaaaally cheap and plan on making a custom cafe- sort of a CB92 "lite"- bike. I have a set of MCM high-pipes so the exhaust clearance for these rearsets wouldn't be an issue for me- Can you send me some close-up pics and/or some dimensions so I could fabricate a set? I have no issue making a longer swingarm spindle.
Thanks, Dave

Here you go Dave, look at the pegs on the black bike with the red tank.
These are stock Benly Super Sport CB92 foot pegs on a C92 (CA95) frame but with CB92 Exhaust pipes, see how the pipes are much lower than the CA95s stock exhaust system.

Awesome shots- Thanks- I am still unclear as to the right hand footpeg arrangement; especially wrt the brake pedal- I have a close-up pic of the left side- anyone have one like that for the right side?
Thanks, Dave
