I guess I'll post my own updates! I gave in and ran down to LA to wire up this 1UZ into Nick's race truck. GOtta get the 1UZ off road truck movement started! I'll start a forum thread specifically for the wiring work that I did for this truck. Not only will it show what it takes to wire a SC400 wiring harness and ECU to the 1UZ but it will also serve as the place I keep my notes of what I did to get this thing working. So we have this thread here showing swap pics and then the other thread which shows how I wired the 1UZ-FE engine into the Toyota truck chassis.

SEE!? All it takes is a few wires! EZ

Updating this thread with some pictures that were clipped from a recent video from the desert testing session last weekend. Looking great, sounding good, worked out a few bugs in the suspension and it should make for a good race weekend for Nick. Judging by the huge shit-eatin grin I would say that it runs good enough to take out and race. It's not running PERFECTly but it's a great start and it looks like it's flying around fine to me.
