Default Help Finding a Good Shipper

Hey guys I need a good reliable and preferably cheap shipper to get a bike from North Indiana to Central Florida. Sadly I won't be going to Vintage Days or would go and pick up.
Thanks for the help!
Larry

Here is who I've been using to ship items for a few years. Shipag.com is a great little shipping and freight broker. They are a highly rated shipping company/broker out of AZ. I call them up and they ship motorcycles, engines and wheels or whatever I need. They can walk you through the process and answer any questions you have. I became aware of the company through a website called uship.com. This website is like an auction house for your shipment whatever it may be. Then when you post what you want they "bid" on it by emailing you offers to move the package so you can choose who gives you the best offer.

American Group, LLC company made me a great offer and after talking with them I could tell that they were a good entity to do business with. They answer the phone when I call and respond to emails quickly. Heck, tell them you found out about them through Ryan at Fourwheel Performance and they might even remember me!

American Group, LLC

One time I called them as I was pretty anxious for a shipment and they looked it up on their computer and confirmed where in the US it was at that very moment. They have all those trucks on GPS real time now so that was very good to know that my shipment was accounted for. Anyhow that's how I move things. They do motorcycles and exotic stuff too. I had them move a collectors motorcycle and you know how scary that is!

I'll give them call. I prefer to work from recommendations and reward good service.

Unhappy Follow up

Well I called ShipAG on wednesday afternoon and arranged with Kevin for a quote to ship a Superhawk and some parts. Since I haven't yet arranged for crating and such we settled on a quote for 650lbs. Kevin said he'd get back to me by end of business that day by either phone or email.
Sadly I'm still waiting on Friday to hear anything.

When I had to do this kind of work, I (tried) to humble myself and at least call the customer saying I need more time because of blah blah.
I'll be call them back this a.m. but not sure yet if they are earning my business.
Thought I give a follow up...

I don't think Kevin was the guy that has helped me out the numerous times I used them. Just email the sucker back again and bug em.

Quoted 700 lbs for about $580 three days travel. I expect the package to be much less weight than 700lbs.
And Kev lost all my info so thus the delay in response- oh joy.
They'll still probably get the biz...
