Thinking about buying a bike from the opposite side of the country anybody use or can recommend a good transporter?

I use U-Ship.com

It is like an "ebay" type bid shipping site. You set up an account and post what you need shipped. You list the item, PU point and delivery, preference of covered or open transport. People will bid on transporting the item. You pick the lowest bid.

There is a 10 day pick up window and a 3 day delivery window.

I have used this service twice and the shipping is usually 60% less than a freight company...and the bike will be delivered to your door.

Oh on those lights & visors

I did install as you instructed but they fell off when I hit a bump

Then I cut of the studs along the base of the lense to give the visor more room but they still feel awful loose and the retaining ring seems not to fit as tight as without the visor

So I took them off and im trying to look for a retaining ring that's smaller in diameter to see if that will help

Hmmm. Does the visor have a "lip" like the ones shown below?

I pulled an original Buco light body, lens and clip from my stock and assembled the whole package with above visor. (no lens gasket) Everything fit tight. You may have to leave the light lens gasket out.

The above visors are what I use for the Buco original light bodies. I build L.E.D. type with a fixed visor, but the visor is smaller. See below

Yup it does have the lip on the visor
