Liability Insurance
My '63 CA95 had a liability policy (minimum) for $40 a year, USAA. Now USAA has dropped motorcycle insurance with a handoff to Progressive...now its $70 a year. No biggie, but I have antique plates which limits use. Just thought I would pass this info on.............
Forgot to mention...Texas, which may be different elsewhere. |

I have uninsured motorist, high liability, property damage and medical. Deductable is high as well. I am more concerned with me getting fixed than the bike, especially living in a depressed area where drivers have nothing to loose. My build from scratch CA95 runs just under $300.00 per year. Oh, no special plates. I may be over insured, but $300 is no big deal.

My older Honda bikes, a '65 Super Cub and '72 CB175, cost me about $110 per year to insure with Progressive. My Triumph triple is roughly $250. I can't recall what terms I selected, but I did receive some discount because the boats are also insured with the same company.
