Default Stator to points wiring (green wire)

Hey everyone. Finally got some money in for the CA project. I am hoping to fire it up today, I just want to confirm something. below I have a picture of the green wire coming from the stator and the plate where the points are. After looking at the wiring diagram, it seems as though the green wire needs to be soldered, where the end of the black wire connects to the stator plate (green dot in points plate picture). Is this correct? I just want to be 100% sure that I won't be messing anything up. thanks everyone!

The small spring you see on the right side of connector is the place where the green wire attached to. Push up on the spring and you will see a hole where the green wire pushes through, then relax the spring and your ready to go.
