VJMC show in Minnesota!

Hi,

The Minnesota chapter of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC) is having their annual show on Saturday, May 21st, at MotoPrimo in Lakeville: http://www.vjmc-mn.com/

I went last year and there were a lot of neat bikes. I plan on going this year.

Where are you located? I have a CA95 engine from a bike I parted. I am located in Minnesota about 20 miles from Spokes.

I have frames!

Hi Spokes,

I have a couple of decent frames in St Paul.
One is the black bike your engine came out of and the other is black and in storage.

CA160 VIN question

Hi,

Iam starting a CA160 restoration and am sorting out the registration first. I have searched and found the posts on decoding a CA95 VIN, but I think the CA160 is different. My VIN is CA160-1012568. Does that make it a 1968?

Thanks,

Sorry the motor was such a turd. You can have the the black 1965 (3000 mile motor with bad left side cover, not stuck) for $50 or the non-stuck 62 for $40. The 62 would be easier as it is already out. I may need a little help with the 65 as my back is still killing me from my fall.

Hi Spokes. Welcome to Minnesota. I live in Saint Paul, about 30 minutes from Eden Prairie, and I have 4 CA95 engines available. 3 turn over and one is stuck. I will PM you with my phone number.

I also have a chain guard.

Earcly CA95 Mufflers for sale on EBAY

Hi,

I am not sure if this is allowed, I will remove the post if it is not. I am restoring a CA160 and acquired a set of early flat sided CA95 mufflers as part of a parts package that I bought. The mufflers will need a total restoration, but I figure someone might need them: http://cgi.ebay.com ...
