CB160 For Sale

Not mine. But I thought I would post this in case someone was looking for a project bike. Claims to be a 1966 CB160.

Also make sure when you clip the positive to your donor steel, don't let the jumper cable clip go under water. Otherwise it'll loose metal too.

It will go on ebay sometime after getting registered, plated and riden 50-100 miles to make sure the bike is sound. Then on to the next build, yet unknown.

Wish you were still in Minnesota. I'd drive over and snatch that sucker up from you in a heartbeat. I'd even throw in another C95 for you to ...

I haven't used this myself, but there are some Suzuki LC MC riders who use this and have had good luck.

I haven't tried removing my stock petcock yet. But if that won't budge, do you think Evapo-Rust would be safe and not destroy the petcock system? This was actually on my next summer to do list. See if I can easily get the rust out of the tank to make sure it doesn't need repairs.

On the Honda Ruckus, some guys swap out to a PC20 carb. Now the Ruck is only 49cc's. But this carb is a 20mm. Wouldn't this work?

I believe that is what the new bridge rectifier is for. Taking the 10kv and changing it to 12V instead of 6V.

According to my Benly's Driver's manual:

Hamamatsu: C92, CB92
Saitama: C72, CB72, C200, CL72
Suzuka: C100, C102, C110, C114

But you're right, no CA listed. Weird. I would assume the Hamamatsu plant since that's where the other 92 engines are.

My father had a 1965 CA95. He bought it brand new. The "Interstate" just opened up in North Dakota. Him and his two brothers all bought Benly's. They decided it would be fun to drive to Bismarck 100 miles away on the new Interstate. But they did it drafting behind a semi. They call could keep 55mph ...

I've been emailing Oaky's Garage. They are out of Massachusetts for those interested. He's been quite busy. Has 4 "vintage" Honda's waiting for restoration right now.

On just an engine, to be re-done like the video shows, it's $2000. That includes parts and labor. If you want a whole bike restore ...

Yep, those aren't the factory Honda add-ons. Those were square lens models. Not sure what these are.

I think Spokes found some nice units that are similar. Worst case, you might need to switch out to new models.
