Your Honda dealer will have the screws. In a pinch you can replace the bad pan head screws with hex head metric screws usually found at any good hardware store.
Don't ca95s have voodoo screws where the thread pitch is different from modern metric screws found at the hardware store? I ordered ...

There is a product called Evapo Rust that I used in my Benly tank and I would recommend going this route for any rust removal project. If I hadn't seen the results myself I would have a hard time believing it could work so well.

good idea

Sam I think I've even seen an "overlay" for converting a regular speedo to a tach.
Should be good for all of us dummies- Rev to ten grand shift and repeat.

Thanks for the idea for this could be a solution, run a tach cable and create a custom face to convert the speedo to a tach. I'd like to add ...

Evapo rust rules!

I just used evapo rust on the inside of two gas tanks. It worked as good as I could have wanted, which is to say perfectly. The inside of the first tank ('96 Triumph) was rusty on the bottom and it now looks new. The benly tank went in next but I only submerged 1/2 the tank at a time. One side came ...

I wish

I think the early ca's came with the tach sender but no tach.
I'm probably going to assemble all the parts out of respect for Mr. Honda. Lord knows if taking this spinning but usless shaft out of the motor will upset the magic but I'm inclined to pay respect to Soichiro just in case.
Maybe I'll ...

back at it

Ahh the sweet taste of sucsess!
For my stuck bushing issue I ended up ginding off the end of an easy out, otherwise it would bottom out on the little geared shaft. Worked like a charm but now I'm hoping to not re-stall the bushing and the little geared shaft that runs off the end of the cam.
Can I ...

Looking for a reputable head rebuilding machine shop

I want to send away my benly's head for a rebuild but I don't know of any good machine shops.

Can anyone reccomend a shop that they like?

Digging in

Looks like only one more problem with the head, until I can get the cam out that is. The inside right exhaust stud was the wrong thread and affixed with something like liquid metal. I will try but I don't think I can helicoil it due to the large size of the hole. Could be dicey.

The rest of the ...

Vintage Connections for electrical parts/tools

http://www.vintageconnections.com/

I wouldn't be able to make a wiring harness for a motorcycle without Vintage Connections.

The only way to fit all those wire connectors into little spaces is to use those mini motorcycle type connectors and they got 'em.

And about Apex Cycle, I knew the guy ...

I've had good luck with Motion Pro for custom length cables.

Maybe they do vintage too: http://motionpro.com/motorcycle/tools/c ... QAodYzDL1Q

the nasty bits

Now I'm rewiring but I just had to look inside the engine.

Any ideas for getting this bushing out? It is the rpm sender unit's bushing and it is stuck. Is there a inside diameter grabber tool that I can stick in there and expand to remove this bushing?

There has been some previous work (broken ...

My paint booth

After some nice nights in the garage I've been able to spray can everything in my paint booth.

And now I've got a roller!

aaron7 wrote:bikebandit.com has lots of parts too. They don't have a page (that I can find) for the CA95 but if you have the part number they usually have it as Honda used the same parts for many bikes.

FYI: Bike Bandit only lists CA95/92's under the 1959 model year.

coolest benly part

I came across this detail and it has become my new favorite benly part. The old favorite part was the rear brake light lever but I admire the decision to put the spiral of life on a motorcycle part.

Do all Benly speedometer sender units have this spiral cut into them.

Do you think is was Soichiro ...

Thanks, the wheels are back together and looking good. I went with clear coat on the hubs and spokes but I'll try to maintain the rims without paint.

I do have a question, there is loose rust inside both rims rattling around. I'd like to keep these rims usable for a long time.

Should I drill holes ...
