Could anyone help me out with a full tut on how to clean out the fuel system on a 67 touring.

I bought the bike. Ran beautifully. Filled it up with gas, and it choked on some rust that was at the top of the tank. Cleaned out the filter at the petcock and she started right up again.

I have a CA160 and she just started to not start!

The battery is fine. She cranks and cranks when I hit the starter switch but wont run.

I just filled up the gas tank for the first time and I did notice that the inside had some rust.

Possible clogged fuel line??

Converted my 67 touring to a 12v system. All electronics were updated to work with 12v.

Problem: She turns over on the first kick, but the idle is off. It's too slow, and if left long enough, the bike shuts off.

Solutions? Crank up idle some how?

Any ideas will be greatly ...

Recently purchased a 67 touring 160.

Immediately converted it to a 12v system (don't hate :/ )

Got my Interstate 12v annnnnd, it doesn't fit. I plugged it in and everything works great, but the battery is too big for the compartment.

I've heard some talk of Yuasa batteries ...
