Default Carb Spring?

So I'm SO close to getting my 64 benly on the road. However, one of the things that was strange to me was how gummed up and hard to turn the throttle was- I assumed it was the cable. However, upon closer inspection, I found that the previous owner had used a way stiffer spring in the carb (the one that maintains tension on the throttle cable. These aren't included in rebuild kits- ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE? There was one on ebay (with random bits from a carb), but it sold- plus, $25 seemed a bit steep...
Man, it's getting warmer here and I'm itchin' to get that bike on the road!!

Check out a hardware store for a spring ,my local Ace Hardware has a great selection of springs . you may have to buy one and cut it down to the correct length and tension .

I have a spring from another old Honda carb that is very close to the original CA95 type that may(likely) work. PM me with an address and I will send it to you.

It's just sittin in my misc Honda parts box.
