I'm very pleased at the way the painted mufflers look. My current project bike had wasted mufflers, now repaired, they will be painted flat black. Thanks!

Thanks Spokes! FYI you may not be able to make it out in the photo but the paint on the pipe is scuffed a bit where my wife's boot rubs when she shifts. But it's holding up great everywhere else. Even after having some oil blow back on them it just wipes right off. We used the heat of the engine to bake the paint onto the pipes but it may cure better if you have an oven or torch.
