Default CA95 Pistons, 2 types, interchangeable?

Hi! There's 2 numbers for the CA95 standard bore piston, 131-206-000 for the earlier engines and 13101-206-010 for engines after 4019733. Are these interchangeable if used in pairs? Can I use a pair of 010's in an earlier engine and visa versa? They will be used in engine number 3030234. Thanks, Cliff.

Hey Cliff,

From my understanding of the Honda part numbers, the last three digits can represent either a slight design modification and/or different supplier/manufacturer.

So, in pairs I'd imagine it would be alright.

Cliff, due to the fact that nothing significant has changed in the motor like, Pin size, squish chamber, valve lift, duration and angle, they should be good to use.
Pistons are better used in pairs but if there is not more than the odd gram in weight difference and you have one of each new, you would be able to mix them.
Even if the bore stays the same, don't mix them if one has been used and the other one is new.

Sam.
