Default Yet another (I'm sure) petcock question

My CA95's got a complete fuel petcock....alas, 1/3 or the parts are rusty blobs.

I managed to drill out the screws and separate the components...the problem I have is: I don't think one of the parts that needs replacing is included in the rebuild kit... (#6 on the illustation here: http://www.examiner.com/article/vintage-honda-petcocks )

I can't find a part number, and thus don't have the first clue where to start looking.

For the search engines, it's 16954-250-000, and it's available all over.

I actually didn't. The guy from the examiner (Mr. Honda) replied back to me!
I was just closing the loop in case someone else had the same problem.

Itpays to look around. The first Ebay hit was for $38 + shipping....I found 'em for $7 elsewhere by just blind googling the part number.

From whom did you end up buying this part? I need 3 and could sure use to save a couple bucks! Thank you.

I called Western Hills Honda and they don't have it and can't get it. They have a nationwide parts locator and nothing showed up there either. I think we'll get the same answer from the other suppliers you have listed. Thus, I'm going to get mine from http://www.ebay.com/itm/230649336187...84.m1423.l2649 unless someone here on the fourm can recommed a better-priced supplier. I need 3, so at least I'll be saving a bit on shipping. I might buy some other needed CA95 stuff from this supplier as well...!

Thanks for the advice.

compwiz_101:
Thanks for checking.

I'll be ordering three (3) of these plus some other stuff from our good friend in Thailand!

Yeah, I'm finding the same. Which is wierd because it's not just a CA95 part, it was used on a number of models for a number of years.
