Default New aquisition CA160 and some...

Well I just got back from a trip to Spokes' state and I'll be damned if two bikes didn't manage to follow me home. Both bikes have been out of circulation and last run approximately 20 years ago and I was amazed at how nice CA160 1012708 is. For an original bike, as far as I can tell, it is the best bike I've seen (which equals not many). I am so stoked- you can see by the pics it is very clean. Inside storage for both bikes. The CA is titled as a 69 but has an earlier number than my other CA160, so I suspect a 65 or 66 bike.
Funny thing tho, the 66 Super Hawk just followed me home......

Which likely means something else has to go...

A year and a half ago I couldn't spell "motorcycle" since then;

1978 Yamaha Yamahopper-sold
1971 Honda CT90 -donor
1967 Honda CT90 resto project
1964 Honda C105- on hold
1965 Honda S-65 Uber resto project
1967 Honda S-90 sold
1967 Yamaha YL2C refurbed and sold
1966 CA95 parts bike
1966 CA160 resto project (needs sold?)
1966 CB160 refurb resto project
1969 CB350-beautiful and sold
1968 CD175 refurb and for sale
196? Red CA160 Touring
1966 Honda Super Hawk(mine, mine, mine)-

All of this for less than the DONOR Roadrunner or Camaro would cost you today.
What a GREAT HOBBY!

While I only expected the CA160, once I saw the SH I had to break the bank. While not the least expensive bikes I've bought, certainly the best in quality.
Still a great deal overall and very happy.

Means I'll probably be part out the black CA160 I was going to do in the fall, if anyone is interested. I'll try get pics and parts list up soon.

Also will be listing a 68 CD175 in good running order to help pay for the Superhawk.

After the usual fiddling, a new set of points and a decent battery the Red CA160 started pretty well for the first time since 1993. A few bits and bobs to work out. Starter solenoid contacts need cleaned and still tweaking the carb but overall very happy.
Need to look for a solo seat next-

The wife is letting me store the Superhawk in the dinning room- for now...
