NEW CA160 Build in Tucson, Arizona
Starting a mild resto on a CA160. Want this thing in shape by April if possible. Just picked it up a few weeks ago ready to start the build. Already in decent shape runs great mostly superficial changes being made. Powder-coating, lots of cleaning and some minor replacement of minor parts. Rust situation is good, bike came from Indiana, I'm in AZ so no more rust... Never actually seen one of these rising around Tucson, this things definitely going to turn heads.
I already have a preliminary parts list I'm looking for: I need ASAP: 1 upper chain guard 2 plastic sprocket cover 3 a decent left muffler (not beat up, don't care about condition of chrome surface scuffing/light rust, NO BIG DENTS!!) 4 seat mount |

First Pics Here!!
Just posted the first pics, yeah I work on my shit in the kitchen...excuse the mess..!
The bike is actually complete, I currently have the side covers off because I am installing a new K&N Hi-Flow Filter & a new "Rhino" brand 6V battery. To my knowledge these are currently the only two items in need of immediate repair (to prevent any damage) before I start riding the bike. The seat is off too, getting a new cover put on right now (ebay Thai krap $40), This is obviously just to get me by until I can afford a custom redo in burgundy Ostrich/Stingray Row Stone.. I'm serious. |
