Default The Meet at the LeMay Museum

I took my family to the Vintage Motorcycle Show at the LeMay - America's Car Museum in Tacoma today. My wife and I have already seen some of the cars back when Mr. LeMay stored them in various buildings scattered throughout the city but today was our first opportunity to see the new museum and to show my son the cars. I used to run into Mr. LeMay once in a while at swapmeets in Washington state years ago and I remember he bought what he liked. I think at some point he had several thousand cars. If you are in the Seattle/Tacoma area, I recommend visiting this collection and plan on spending the day.
I would estimate there were roughly 150 vintage Japanese motorcycles in the show with about 50 to 75 of them being Hondas. Of those I would guess about half of those were toaster tank era and older. Here are some pictures of two very nice old Hondas and one of my son Daniel standing in front of a Tucker.

I forgot to mention, representatives for Motorcycle Classics Magazine were at the show and they were giving a free issue to new subscribers so I signed up!

Yes, Steve looks like you had a great day. The Tucker is cool too (I love the orphan car companies, I was born because of a Hudson).
Nice thing too is when the families see others with old cars and bikes the it makes us look like we are not soo crazy.

It's great to see the smile on your sons face ! If we get them started early enough maybe we'll have another generation interested in preserving history .
