Honda Dream Sport
I saw some beautiful motorcycles at the Corvallis Vintage Show and Swapmeet. Here are some pics of a Dream Sport, which I did not know existed and one pic of an Ariel, it had just about the prettiest engine I've ever seen.

Looks like an early Dream next to the CS.The CS is very nice bike and I've always loved the left and right high pipes.
The Square four is an interesting deal, I'd love to see one on the bench...

Mr. Lake you are correct sir. Here is a cool piece about the type E that Honda put together on their website.
I need to go through my pics and post a few more of the E model I see at shows here in CA.

Thank You for the link Smithers. Very interesting. I enjoyed reading how Mr. Honda really liked four strokes and his comment about the bamboo with holes.... When I was a kid in the early 70's there were only three of us Honda guys. We were completely outnumbered by wing-dingers. I had my candy apple red SL100, a friend had an SL70 and another friend had an ancient (even back then) CB160. We loved our Hondas and thought they sounded like a motorcycle should sound. I do remember the guys with the 2 strokes could get the front wheel in the air quicker. I felt kind of betrayed when the Elsinore came out.

Any Honda guy loves those old historic Honda web pages. What a story. I love how those SL100's look! Very cool. I went and looked at a pair of new cond. CB100s with maybe 500 1000 miles on them combined. The lady thought they were worth an insane amount of money. No way. Store a CB100 or to pay fees on one? You can't do anything with them with the little power they have and they aren't worth anything. Now if they were CL or SL then I would be interested.

Dad told me if I could earn enough money to pay for half of the SL00 he would pay for the other half. I peeled Cascara bark and salvaged scrap copper to earn my half. Of course when I turned 15 I sold it and put the money into my 57 Chevy, which cost me 140 dollars and an 8 track tape deck. I still have one of the keys and sales brochure, and my candy apple red helmet.
