Very nice! Your absence is excused.

How did the races turn out?

It all started when a mate who I had been sponsoring for a few years offered me a ride on a bike he was building for his brother.
With flights booked, entries paid and start permission from the ACU and the Finnish Federation to ride in the event on my British licence, it all went wrong.
A few parts needed to finnish the project failed to turn up so my mate asked his boss a Harley dealer did he have a bike to spare that I could ride.
He loaned me his own Night Rod Special with a motor tweaked to 140bhp.
In the Saturday time trial, I eased it gently off the line and along the quarter mile track at Alastaro just to get a feel for it. It ran a gentle 14.5 just as the rain started.
I went into the Sunday eliminations without a clue what my dial in time should be so took a stab in the dark at 12 seconds dead.
I was up against the track champion who took me out by just .06s (six hundredths of a second.)
The owner knew that with a few more passes I would be on a wining bike so has offered me another ride on it in September.
There was only one other picture of it but I don't have it yet. I'll post a ink when I get it.

Sam.

Thumbs up He may have taken the race but you took his confidence

.06 on his home turf? lol Sam that guy is gonna be shaking in his boots and be a complete nervous wreck by the time September rolls around. Either you were caught shifting in the photo, or the front end looks to be about an inch or so too high for the tuck I normally see you in, your over all posture is just a slight more up right on it.

I suppose dropping it an inch if that was just on the throttle would give you your tuck advantage, but at the same time change the trail were it would not want to stay in a straight line quite as much; when you're really down on it...Hmmm However, I think more runs on it will fit the bill just as well too.

The Finnish can't winnish; when Sam makes them eat his spinach, cause he's Sam Sam the racer man.

Good to see you out having fun. Make sure there isn't any slack in that throttle. Not a bad outing! With some adjustments it sounds like you'll be taking home the win next time.
