Just a heads up for you State side people looking for a set of genuine turn signals....

Thanks for the heads up! What's screwy is that the US CA95's did not have them at the time. Our handlebars have to be drilled and then find the handlebar switch. That's why I build my own signals.

Yeah, from what I've read, the US Dept of Transportation had a regulation in place that specified a minimum distance between the left/right signals, and these early Hondas didn't comply. There was no regulation that required the signals, so the US Hondas didn't get them.

Since I had to replace my handlebars anyway, I bought Thailand-source bars, which were pre-drilled for the signals.

I was just about to bid on that but then I looked closer and saw that it was the left hand dimmer and horn switch. Oh well.

One needs to be careful when buying these as the seller will tell you that they fit several models when in fact they don't.
One fits over the internal spiral twist grip, where as the other fits the remote drum type twist grip more comonley used on the sports models.

I got my right hand switch from Phil Denton Engineering in England, who made this spot-on aluminum replica. It still wasn't cheap ... $110.66 (£66.84), including shipping. Denton used to show the part on the web site, but now I don't see it. Perhaps it's still offered. It was listed as part code 35250212000. That price was quoted in October, 2011, when I purchased the part.
