Reassembly Question
Hi Everyone!
I was pretty careful when I dissassembled my engine. I bagged and labeled everything, well, everything except for this little pin. (Just to the right of the handle of my speedwrench.) I must of been tired or lazy or just assumed it was obvious where it fitted, but of course, now, months later I just don't see where it fits. It is just a little bigger than the pins that mate the crank case halves. Possibly when I install the oil pump or clutch, or dynamo etc... It will be obvious, but until then, can anyone help me out? I promise, every other part is bagged and tagged! Thank You Steve |

No sweat. It's a knock pin that fits in the cylinder head. I think there should be two of them....PM me with an email address and I will send a pdf. of the parts breakout for the whole bike.

Thank You Spokes! I've sent you a pm, and I went down to the shop, test fitted that little pin in the cylinder head and you are correct, that is exactly what it is.
