Default Dressed Up Dream

Hi Everyone:
Here is another interesting bike from the Corvallis Show and Swapmeet. The tag said it ran and the owner was asking 750.
I bought the mufflers for my CB160 from a fellow named Pete. He told me he has lots of parts for sale. He's been collecting old Hondas for a long time and he told me he would be happy to help me round up the remaining pieces I need. The second pic is from his Craigslist Ad.
I noticed while I packed those muffs around the swapmeet people really warmed up to me. They'd ask "working on a cb160?, building a cafe racer?" I'd answer yes to the first and nope to the last. Kind of an ice breaker.

Our bikes are indeed the best ice breakers. But I have to invoke my philosophy about customizing motorcycles. Basically, anything that makes one happy about their bike is ok. So dressed, chopped, restored, color, whim, finesse, attitude, style whatever, is cool. Different strokes for different folks.

Any chance you might go to Helen in June for the VJMC meet?

Thanks Larz, Yes feeling me oats again. I'm going try real hard to make the show. The 64 CA95 project is moving along fine. I have the engine done and have it hanging on my daily rider for break in. I would like to bring the 64 or the build from scratch with me. I'll let you know.

At this point I am still wanting to go and planning for it. I just am not sure how heavy I want to go in (as far as bringing bikes). We should plan to get together-.

Default West Coast Meets

I googled VJMC and came up with two meets in my area this summer. I don't know if they are VJMC or not. The first is the Hinshaws Show and Shine in Auburn WA on July 13 and the 2nd annual west coast rally in Big Bear Lake CA at the end of August. I think I will go up to the one in Auburn and check it out. I hope they have a swap meet. I will take some pics if I see anything interesting.
