1965 ca 95 tires
Hello, I'm a new member doing a partial restore on red 65 CA 150 Honda. Reading these threads have been very helpful on this project. I'm currently looking for a set of 3x16 tires with a 5/8" whitewall, does anybody know a source?
Thanks Grendj |

Yeap the white walls are an issue for sure. While a PITA I'd run black walls until you find an affordable set...

I bought whitewall paint. Applied it with a brush, used an exacto to clean them up...they looked great..then turned light brown. The paint vendor says it's because the tires were still off gassing and I should apply another coat once the bike's in service and I get a litte heat into them.
By then, I probably won't care. |

I ended up buying from Coker. Not happy with the tread but I won't be riding the bike too much.

I am pleased with my Coker wide white walls after 500 miles. They were too tight on the rims for me to mount myself, even with good tire tools, but the Honda shop got the job done for cheap.

Thanks for the feedback, I ended up going with blackwalls from the Honda dealer for 62 bucks a piece. They also had most of the wheel seals and bearings in stock.
