coolest benly part
I came across this detail and it has become my new favorite benly part. The old favorite part was the rear brake light lever but I admire the decision to put the spiral of life on a motorcycle part.
Do all Benly speedometer sender units have this spiral cut into them. Do you think is was Soichiro's idea or perhaps a factory workers inspiration? |

That's very interesting, however mine does not have that fancy swirl..it's simply flat

I never thought about a "favorite part", and my Benly lacks the swirl described above.
If I had to pick a favorite part, it would be something that I enjoy looking at and working with, and that would be any of the aluminum engine castings. It's interesting to study how the casting is made and where the structural reinforcement exists. I also like the chrome toaster panels on the sides of the tank - a throwback to the old days for sure. |

Just found this thread....hmmmm, decisions decisions...
I can't decide between the points adjusting screw (what a great idea and why don't all points have them!) and the clock work mechanics of the blinker relay Kev. |
