Actually I spray it down with a phosphoric/oxalic acid blend(chrome cleaner) Then wet acid brush the rust. Then it will be taken to the sand blaster. When I get it back, I will again spray it with a clean solution of 10% phosphoric acid and allowed to dry. The inside of the frame will be hand primed with two part primer then hand painted with two part color. Then the outside and inside will be sprayed with both primer and color. The color will be several coats. When the bike is absolutly complete, the last step will be some WD-40 in the seams,

The metal parts of this bike should be good to 2064....

I never thought of a police bike build...maybe..don't know. I am still pondering about color...basic white/black/blue/red or a bright color like Ford Crown Vic Orange or Corvette Yellow...or two tone of some combo.
