NO WAY! DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANCES!! That is a PARTS ONLY engine right there. Being outside the plugs will break off and it looks like everything was cut when removed in a hurry. If any of those plugs are broken or wires but it will be a HUGE setback to you and you will have to spend a LOT of money to get more parts.

I'm sure there is stuff wrong with it that I could identify quickly. Bearings are being dried out just sitting there. Things are rusting away for sure. All the hoses are bad and sitting on the ground like that it must be scraped up underneath with more possible damage.

PARTS ONLY!! Trust me. The engine might be good but a LOT of it is not good and the bad parts costs as much as the engine just to replace them. It is extremely dirty and will take a ton of work to clean up. You can buy an engine from a wrecked car that is really clean with good plastic parts. All the plastic parts on this engine are brittle from the sunlight and being outside so even if they do look good to you they WILL BREAK when you take them off or try to put them back on!!

This engine is worth $200 US for parts only. Yes if you take the parts off the engine and clean them up, then advertise them for sale and do a lot of work the parts might be worth more money. But sitting all dirty in a pile they are worth almost nothing. If anyone has a junk engine like they should be happy to take $200 cash for it just to get it out of the way. There are a lot of engines laying around for sale like this... they do not sell.

People like us that actually want an engine to put in a project truck: we are really a rare breed. These engines are NOT in demand at all. You can get a wrecked Lexus car for $1,000 and you will have EVERYTHING you need in perfect running condition. This is the best way to get an engine. You will get familiar with the mechanics of it as you dismantle it carefully. Plus you will get the car with the engine all together and it will be in good condition because it has been under the hood out of the rain and the sunlight!
