Larzfromarz- Thanks so much. Now the wording in the manual makes sense- I was looking up at the top of the backbone; not to the side. Now I can move forward with the engine install!

OK, so I was rebuilding my little '66 Benly motor- but I was so excited when I was reassembling I didn't wait for the head to come back from the shop before I added the starter and alternator etc....
