A quick experiment with Tremclad Fire Red, no prep and in the rain, sprayed on some parts bike bits. The bottom third of the round part has the new paint on it. Looks close and it's bright red....

A problem with painting the shock covers. I'm using a primer for plastic bumpers. The primer seemed to stick nicely to the side covers but is easily scratched off the shock covers. I sanded them down...
