Where do these go?
 

These are in my box of parts. Looks like a spacer and a collar. Any idea where these go? Thanks!

The small bushing is your shift drum index bushing. Looking down at your engine, cylinder's forward, on the right side is a large hex flanged nut. When you remove that "nut" you will see that it has a tapered post on the end. That small bushing goes onto that post. You may get sloppy shifting without it. CAUTION: Use sticky wheel bearing grease to hold the bushing in the post when installing the bushing and shift index. Should the bushing fall into the shift drum groove you may have a hard time lining it up. If it falls free in the engine it will be a pain getting it out.

The larger chrome bushing goes to the rear shock absorber. Shock on the post 1st, followed by the bushing, followed by the shock nut.

Spokes, I don't see the bushing in the diagram and my shocks fit right with just the flat washer. Is it for a different style shock or something? The two #8 bushings are the rubber ones I assume.

My CA95 Builds have all been 1964's & 65's. The spacer on my later builds goes between the shock nut and the washer. I don't think it's a critical part like the shift drum bushing.

Ok! Thanks! My electrical is all hooked up and dead like steverinomeiste's thread last year. I think it's in the switch also. I'll be pulling it and cleaning up the contacts to see if I can get life.

Make sure the fuse holder is good. So often the fuse holder has bad contacts or broken spring. The ignition switches are easily cleaned up. Also make sure you are on the right switch setting. From key insert turn the key two "clicks" up.

I replaced the fuse holder, it was shot. I tried all the settings with no response.

Next check the ground wire to the frame. Then take a continuity light and start tracing power from the battery. Make sure your getting power to the switch.
