need rear fender

I'm on the look out for a rear fender section from the tail light fitting holes to the end of the fender. This will require someone with a scrap or damaged frame that the section needed can be cut from. Can anyone HELP, It's for a mate who is doing a resto on a bike with a cut off rear end.

It ain't pretty but I've restored worse! If he needs me to chop a piece off this sucker just give me the word. The back edge is decent.. they just wear thin and crack along the holes where the brake bolts on.

That's the good part. I'll get a better picture when I get back to the garage.

From that angle it looks OK Ryan. Can you cut it off to include the lower hole to give him an idea of how to mate the two parts together.

Here we go. The closer I look at it the worse it gets! haha  Have a look anyway. If I needed one bad enough I would join the two of them and then slap them around on an anvil for a while and make it look like new.

Hey Sam & Ryan,

The truck is finally in my yard and I am unloading it. I have a great extra frame that I intend to convert to a test stand. I don't need the rear fender...and it is nearly perfect. Just gotta wait for a week until the shop and tools are unpacked and I can send it out. PM me with an address and where you want it cut.

Thanks Ryan but Chips option looks the better bet if he cuts it just above the lower holes where the number plate mounts. The holes will give Graham a better idea of how much has been cut of his fender. (We call them mud guards) :D:D:D:D:D I tried to get him to join us in here but he don't know how a computer works. :(

Happy new year to all and best wishes to you Chip in your new home in the sun shine.;)

Good work. My frame is used and abused. Glad Mr. Chip was able to offer a better looking unit for sacrifice.
