Honda CA95 - Ressurection

Hey Smithers! Picked up a cute non-runner myself. Thought it would make a good project for my wife to get involved in my refurbishing motorcycles hobby. Working through the same issues you are (petcock, carb, etc.) and have a question for you...Can you send me pictures of how your center stand spring attaches to the undercarriage and maybe give me the dimensions of that spring? Mine never had it & I'm looking to get one.

No problem. I'll get back to you soon.

Very nice bike you found there. Seems like you have a complete example to work with. Excellent. Does your wife have a sister? You're an extremely lucky man!

Alrighty I've been out riding motorcycles all weekend but I managed to snap this pic today. I think you'll find out exactly why your having problems messing around with the sidestand spring. I forgot to get the measurement for you though... I'll have to take it off for that.

Of course this is the parts bike.

Thanks for the pictures! I now know what I need. Picked up a temp spring from Tractor Supply Co., holding for now.....

If it doesn't work out for you lemme know and you can have my extra rusty spring and rusty C shaped part for a small donation. :D I don't think I'll be trying to restore this parts bike I got! If you sandblasted and spray painted them they would look just fine and be very functional.

Cool, you got it made. Can't beat that price with a rusty chain!
